Photographs as agents of change and enlightenment
How we see the world and interact with it influences how we try to capture and understand it. The photos in these galleries represent my interactions with non-profit organizations, at events, as well as my view of the natural and not so natural worlds that surround our everyday activity. These presentations make no claim of objective reality but present my particular view.
Personal phones, as cameras, have resulted in a cacophony of visual interaction through social media platforms. It is important to pause and really look sometimes. The overabundance of visual data can be confusing and minimize the importance and the communication represented by a single image. If a picture is worth a thousand words are a thousand pictures worth a million words? If so we might need to all take up speed reading!
